Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

Access Sao Paulo stands with the purpose of supporting conflict/violence mediation and prevention projects in some communities, "favelas", of the city of Sao Paulo. It also focuses on providing unbiased information on Sao Paulo's violence dynamic, deconstructing the harsh prejudice and misconceptions surrounding it, empowering the youth and working to provide a more transparent view of its reality.
